Brand new Japanese underground acid rock duo featuring Tabata Mitsuru of Zeni Geva/Acid Mothers et al and Suzuki Junzo of Miminokoto. The group playing soaring west coast-influenced guitar psych, crossing hallucinatory melodies with peaking/crushing guitar solos ala a Japanese take on Crazy Horse with floating candyfloss vocals and some inspired songwriting. The focus is more on the moodier garage sound of the post PSF underground, with aspects of the more dilated downer Shizuka ballads or the more concise Miminokoto bombs. There's a depth of longing and a grasp of classic psych songcraft - a delicacy of spirit - that hasn't really been present so much in any of the players other projects making this a disc you'll wanna go back to again and again. A fantastic addition to the Japanese underground shelf.
