"Genesis is the first album that Doomcave have recorded as a band. Previously the music was written and recorded by Aiden Vestgaard alone but here the influence of the new members of the project is fully realised. The album's title track is also the only released work that was collaboratively written by the whole band, the other three tracks being reworks of stand out songs from Doomcave's back catalogue."
