"Block is an officially released EP by Little Wizard in 2018. It consists of 3 tracks, one of which was an improvisation produced inside the recording studio. All that Little Wizard wanted from this EP lay in not sounding too suffering. Instead, and what they wanted is to make up music that could cheer audiences up in live concerts and sound powerful and delighted, following their hearts and breaking restrains.

Block is a souvenir for Shaoxing, the city Little Wizard lives in. It’s a “sloppy” city, which has little breeding environment for rock music, but in turn, Little Wizard survives. This album is a collection of records of the streets commuted, stores constantly visited, and friends frequently met, writing down these invisible influences and unconsciously affected emotions.

This album was recorded in Gebi Live House in Yiwu. Little Wizard has always been applying their unique way of making the recordings in the very room where they perform, trying to grasp the feelings of that in the rehearsal room and accomplishing the process of expressing their music without a let-up."
